MY SOLUTION //
Find a non-profit organization or small business that will benefit from a new mobile app for its users. Focus on functionality by using Web Design Perspectives.
I chose to redesign the FieldCheck app to refresh the navigation, home page, and map interaction. In this app redesign, I recreated the design strategy and structure for the app to make it more user-friendly for pesticide applicators. It features helpful links and information about the local area, a simplified map, and completely redone icons.
SKETCHES & WIREFRAMES //
The first step was evaluating the current application and its functionality. From there, I found inspiration and sketched my vision for the updated app. I created digital wireframes in Adobe Illustrator to transfer them into Adobe XD.
DEVELOPMENT //
Next, I developed high-fidelity app designs in Adobe XD to better visualize how the app would come to life.
FINAL DESIGN //
After I refined my high-fidelity designs, I placed my screens into mockups and created a visual identity for the entire application.
