Develop a concept for a mobile food truck and create a full brand identity design so that the business could appeal to potential customers.
The Wick Bar is a candle-making truck on the go. The brand tone is fresh, refined, and personal. This truck could be found at upscale events like weddings, farmers' markets, or charming boutique areas around the Midwest.
INSPIRATION & SKETCHES //
I always start with brainstorming. I take a look at what's been done well, why it works, and how I can make my own design stand out.
ITERATIONS //
Next, I go through several possible solutions to emit the tone that I want to portray. For this brand, I want to capture the young professional that enjoys DIY, home projects, and quality experiences.
THE FINAL SOLUTION //
Finally, I landed on a brand that I loved. The logo is simple and clear. The tone is fresh, approachable, and individual. The brand identity spans all collateral materials that are part of The Wick Bar experience. This includes the truck design, the candle pouring guide, the candle, the shopping bag, the pouring apron, and the responsive website.
Now, all it needs is a real truck!
