LatinxSuccess
Responsive Web Design

2021

THE CHALLENGE //

MY SOLUTION //

Design a responsive website that addresses a social issue relevant to you. The goal of the website is to educate, inform, and promote action for the audience.
This responsive website design promotes, educates, and encourages the viewer to get involved in combating the social issue of Latinx education inequities in the United States. Based on the facts, Latinx citizens are the largest minority group in America but have the lowest graduation rates. This leads to a pipeline of higher education attainment and contributions to the workforce. With more equitable access to education, Latinx students can contribute to the betterment of American society and economy, not to mention an overall higher quality of life.
WIREFRAME &
LOW-FIDELITY SKETCHES //
I began with the basic wireframe of the website. The navigation, pages, information, and assets would be the outline of the site. Originally, I planned to name the site "LatinXcel" but later during the refinement process changed it to "LatinXSuccess".
HIGH-FIDELITY SKETCHES & INFOGRAPHIC SKETCHES //
Next, I took my designs to a high-fidelity prototype in Adobe XD. I developed the infographic sketches to represent the statistics on the education gap for Latinx students in the United States.
FINAL RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN //
Finally, I fully developed my designs in mobile, tablet, and desktop responsive sizes. The pages develop and encourage education and action to help bridge the gap.
